I attended for my interview two times.It includes Petronas Interview and Mara Interview as well.

Actually,petronas interview going more tough than that mara interview.But,come on lah! its almost the same.As long as we are getting ready for that ,prepare everything.If u dont,HEAD-SHOT.

Petronas :

For as long as i remember,the petronas interview was held on 12-13 March 2009 at UTP Tronoh Perak.After apply through petronas website,one should wait for a couple of weeks before the result comes out;who are eligible to attend a camp namely "Petronas EduCamp".During this two days camp,individual will be interviewed by two person,usually Petronas Employee(they might be an engineer,HR and anything possible)



one clear day

Interview was divided into two parts ; group and individual session.Ouhh how terribile it's goin.You know guys,ive been selected to be as the same group with the other guys who come from those excellent schools such as Kolej Islam Sultan Alam Shah,Sekolah Alam Shah and there's also a representative who comes from MRSM in my group,its me.Am proud of MRSM Kuala Terengganu..p/s: happy teachers' day to all of my teachers.

Before the grouping session starts,we were given a topic to be discussed during the session.The topic that we've got on that day, refugees.
Its all about Do you agree if the refugees come into our country and live here.No,i said no.
And You know guys,im the only-one who said no.The others young mate,said yes!
aduh..
We were given 10 minutes on providing the contents before we HAVE TO present to their panels individually.Im the lucky no 1 to present that.

Individual Session

Then,my turn comes.With silent prayer,i started walking slowly,keep trying to focus to all of my ideas before, heading to the panel room.Nervous,is a normal thing tat usually strike those who will be interviewed like me.So,dont worry be happy,its a normal symptom.I knocked the door three times,then entered the room

Me :Assalamualaikum
Interviewer A:Waalaikumussalam,syafique abdullah.have a sit please.
Me :Thanks sir ouh they know my name.
Interviewer B:So,why you are here?
Me :I come here,with a mission,to get the petronas scholarship.Although i know
that the competition was very keen,but nothing's impossible.try our best.
Interviewer A:Why i have to choose you instead others?
Me :Too long here.What can i say,this time you should promote yourself.In the other words,"angkat bakul".

For me,i mentioned tat im one of school's representatives for national mathematics olympiad 2007 competition,and many more.Just promote and be yourself.And it works!.Show to them that you are really eligible to be one of their scholars.They wanna help you not to destroy you.Just make them feel confident to choose you.

Interviewer B :Ok,you may start your presentation.

Me :Head-Shot.bla bla bla bla...agak terabur sedikit..what can i only said,an unsuccessful one.Im not satisfied.But,managable.

The end for individual session,just take a few minutes.5 minutes i think.Just a short session.

Grouping Session

After all of my group mate being interviewed,here comes the second obstacle,grouping session.We walked together into the panel room,discuss everything.Everything was going ok.All of my group mate co-operate as well as we planned before altough i comes up with different points of view.Thanks mate.

15 minutes gone,
and it almost the end.
You know whats the best answer?
either do you agree or disagree ,there's no best answer here.The key here,they wanna see you speak out loud and clear than u ever .Once again,to make them confident with you.Thats all.Good luck and all the best for those who will be interviewed.Relax,cool down,and everything gonna be ok.
